In-home postpartum Midwifery care
Comprehensive medical and holistic care during those first weeks, in your own home, is a priceless investment.
Typically, after returning home from the hospital, you won’t have a maternal postpartum check-up for 4-6 weeks, even though there’s so much physical and emotional support needed. In the meantime, your newborn will have multiple ‘well-baby’ appointments at the pediatricians office and you may need breast/chest feeding support, all while trying to rest and heal.
So much happens in those first weeks!
Imagine being able to do all of that from the comfort of your own home. With in-home midwifery care you can, while staying in bed to rest, eating healthy food, and feeding & bonding with your sweet new baby.
Drawing on my 10+ years of experience as a Licensed Midwife, I can care for your postpartum physical needs, provide well-baby care for your newborn, share skilled breast/chest feeding support and advice, and answer all your questions during those tender first 6 weeks. If anything outside of the normal postpartum scope arises, I will recommend an appropriate follow up visit with your baby’s pediatrician or your own care provider.
Lastly, having skilled care, support and reassurance in those first weeks can greatly help parents avoid postpartum depression and other mood disorders.
My goal is to care for you and your newborn, while empowering you, building your confidence as new parents and setting you off to the best start possible.

First 3 visits will take place within 10 days after the birth.
Next 3 visits will take place between 2 and 6 weeks postpartum - depending on your recovery needs.
